The Cité internationale in Paris is a campus dedicated to housing students from all over the world. It's composed of residences for various countries or regions. Some of those are remarkable buildings.
The maison de l'Égypte was built by architect Waleed Arafa in 2023, and its facade is decorated with hieroglyphic texts made with JSesh, chosen and established by Dr. Monica Hanna, Pr. Salima Ikram and Dr. Anne-Claire Salmas.
The texts are taken from Papyrus Lansing (glorification of the scribal profession), and, on the left aisle of the building, Papyrus Chester Beatty IV, with the famous eulogy to the great writers of the past.
Have a closer look at the presentation of the house) by Georges and Samuel. There are beautiful photos. I'm quite in awe and proud to have been remotely part of it (I wasn't involved, but Anne-Claire Salmas kindly told me about her work).
