JSesh currently uses a nice library, called Quaqua, to be more Mac-OSX compatible... However, Quaqua development seems to be over (the Java 8 version is still listed as "unstable", so I'm not going to use it).

The Grenoble Museum hosts the Kuban stela, a beautiful monument of Ramses II. Their website allows detailed examination of the text, and also has a nice translation of the stela by Bernard Mathieu. See it here
M. Stuart Ray Banham has sent me a number of signs. Here are two nice glyphs from the tomb of Sethy the 1st. They are a bit over-detailled for use in printed work, but they can be used on large-scale printing.

I have just downloaded Openoffice 4.1.0. At last, it has antialiasing on all glyphs copy/pasted by JSesh, which is a great news.

From Mac OS X Mountain Lion onward, new Mac OS X machines don't include Java.
Currently, JSesh expects java to be where it used to be on old machines, which means you must get it from here : http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1572 (before installing JSesh).
